Had a free day this week due to the holiday, so I decided to watch some old cartoons for relaxation/inspiration.
The idea for this one came from watching an episode of Dexter’s Laboratory titled “Let’s Save the World You Jerk!” Loved that show.
Much fun was had with this. I wanted to go for that “super rendered shadows” look that’s used in some giant robot anime. I was sure to add my own style to it though. I think it looks okay for now, but who knows what I’ll think tomorrow.
